Kristian Kaltenbach is a Berlin-based music selector, vinyl enthusiast and DJ whose approach has increasingly centred on listening-bar culture over the past decade.

For Kristian, selection comes before technique. His sets are shaped by the records themselves, moving freely between jazz, fusion, funk, disco, world music and ambient without the need for fixed boundaries.

Curiosity sits at the heart of his approach. He is constantly discovering new music, digging for records and following unexpected connections between genres, eras and places.

That sense of discovery naturally feeds into his selections, where the aim is simple: to share music he genuinely believes in and create a listening experience that feels open, personal and immediate.
