Groove Schez is the selector project of Santy Sanchez, shaped by more than three decades of listening, collecting and musical exploration.

His record collection has grown without fixed boundaries, moving between house, folk, jazz, psychedelia, world music, experimental sounds, field recordings and forward-thinking electronic music. Rather than treating these as separate worlds, Santy looks for the connections between them.

His approach is intuitive and curatorial, selecting not simply by genre, but by atmosphere, emotion and the response a record can create. Each session develops its own direction, bringing together different periods, textures and musical languages in ways that feel natural rather than predetermined.

For Santy, selection is ultimately about curiosity: listening closely, discovering something unexpected and creating connections through sound.
