Maria Inês, aka DJ Marinês, is a Portuguese-born selector and vinyl collector based in Turin, and a recognised presence within the city’s Brazilian music scene.

Deeply inspired by Brazilian music and culture, her selections move through samba, MPB, Forró, Baile Funk, Afro-Brazilian rhythms and contemporary influences, drawing connections between tradition and the sounds shaping Brazil today.

Her approach is warm, rhythmic and expansive, creating sessions that celebrate the richness and diversity of Brazilian music while allowing different eras, styles and influences to sit naturally alongside one another.
