Riviera Records takes up monthly residence at B-Side, bringing Munich’s underground listening culture into the Alps through an ongoing program rooted in vinyl, patience, and deep listening.

As part of B-Side’s Music Program, the residency invites selectors connected to the label to shape the room over time. Each session builds on the last, allowing sound, atmosphere, and audience to evolve together.

ONE LABEL. TWO PERSPECTIVES

SUBTHIEL
Hailing from Munich and a member of the SNK collective, Subthiel brings a selector’s approach defined by subtlety and restraint. Deeply connected to the underground, his selections move patiently through gentle house grooves, emotive progressive house, early-2000s tech house, and minimal techno. His sets are guided by feel rather than force, allowing records to breathe and transitions to unfold naturally.

GOEPEN
Alongside him is Goepen of Riviera Records. Drawing from an extensive vinyl collection, his selections focus on groove and flow, creating space for listeners to settle into the sound. Immersive and unhurried, his approach carries the room forward through continuity and texture rather than momentum.

Together, the residency reflects a shared philosophy between Riviera Records and B-Side: music as a practice of attention. A room shaped for listening, guided by selectors who understand the value of space, pacing, and presence.
